Meet The Hunter Region Team
Andrew Donald, Associate Director
Andrew leads complex regional strategic planning, rezoning, and housing delivery projects across NSW. He co-presents the Planning Institute’s “Planning Proposals 101” and is a registered planner with PIA.
Robert Bisley, Associate Director
Robert is responsible for leading statutory business development in the region. He combines excellent communication skills with deep expertise in policy and major projects, including State significant developments, particularly in Newcastle. Rob is also an alternate member of the Cessnock Regional Planning Panel.
Belinda Barrie, Senior Associate and REAP
Belinda has many years’ experience in Victoria and NSW leading complex DAs, planning proposals and feasibility studies. She is a UDIA Hunter Committee member and advocates for sustainable growth.
Rachael Petherbridge, Senior Associate
Rachael is a skilled statutory planner with broad public and private sector experience, and strong personal and professional connections in the area. She specialises in development assessment, court matters and engagement. She also chairs the Property Council’s Hunter Future Leaders Committee.
Our Newcastle team are supported by the broader Gyde team resources, including April Foster (Assistant Planner), who will be working in the Newcastle office, supporting Anna and the team during 2026.
