Melrose Park Southern Precinct Redevelopment

What we did

A Structure Plan was prepared for the Melrose Park South Precinct to guide its transformation from an industrial to a high-density mixed-use precinct. We were engaged by Holdmark Property Group and Goodman Property Services, to prepare a Structure Plan for the Melrose Park South Precinct. We provided strategic planning advice, assisted with the preparation of the structure plan and project managed the process and the team of sub consultants. The structure plan identifies locations for new infrastructure such as new open space and roads to support the urban renewal and considers the indicative location of the Parramatta Light Rail Stage 2, which is currently proposed to run through Melrose Park. Once complete, the precinct could accommodate 3,500 to 4,000 dwellings and 10,000 sqm of non-residential floor space and new public parks.We also lead the engagement with Parramatta Council and key stakeholders. The Plan is currently being assessed by the City of Parramatta Council.
