We were responsible for providing strategic planning advice and preparation of a Statement of Environmental Effects as well as a Clause 4.6 Height Variation Report (of 33%) to accompany a Development Application for the construction of a four storey mixed use development including ground floor retail and basement car parking. The proposal was approved by the Council, subject to conditions. The proposal was for the demolition of the existing structures on the site and the construction of a 4-storey shop-top housing development with retail premises at the ground floor and nine residential units located above. The proposal included two levels of basement car parking using a car shelving system and a communal terrace on the roof. The project connects to another adjoining PBD Architects project.
