We were responsible for providing strategic planning advice & preparation of a Statement of Environmental Effects & Clause 4.6 Height Variation (of around 10.7%) to accompany a Development Application. Development Consent was approved by the SEJRPP October 2015. The proposal was for the demolition of the existing structures on the site and the construction of a mixed use development ranging up to 7-storeys in height. The proposal included two floors of basement car parking, three retail premises and 59 residential units. The corner site presented great opportunities but constraints regarding access plus Apartment Design Guide compliance.
