What we did

We provided strategic planning advice and prepared a Statement of Environmental Effects and Clause 4.6 Height Variation Report to accompany a Development Application (DA) to North Sydney Council. The Clause 4.6 variation sought a 6 metre increase in height relating to the lift over run which enabled equitable access to the rooftop communal open space for residents. Subject to minor design modifications the application was recommended for approval by Council. "The North Sydney Local Planning Panel approved the DA unanimously. The proposal comprised the demolition of the existing structures on the site and the construction of a 4-storey shop-top housing development with retail premises at ground floor level and ten residential units above. A new contemporary mixed-use development situated on the edge of the Crows Nest Town Centre, adjoining the Holtermann Estate Conservation Area to the north and east.
