43-53 Cudgegong Rd Rouse Hill

What we did

We have been extensively involved with this project from inception and has successfully worked with the project team to secure the approval of the Concept DA and Stage 1 DAs. A complex project from a planning approval perspective, extensive consultation with Blacktown Council, Landcom and Sydney Metro was required. During the DA process for the Concept and Stage 1 DAs, we coordinated and attended multiple Pre-DA meetings with Council, undertook detailed reviews of specialist reports, prepared a comprehensive Statement of Environmental Effects and coordinated the lodgement of the application. Following the lodgement of a Deemed Refusal appeal in the NSW Land and Environment Court, we responded to Council’s Statement of Facts and Contentions, attended ‘Section 34 on-site conferences’ and prepared expert reports to assist in negotiating the approval of the Concept and Stage 1 applications. We have now prepared a Modification Application for the Concept DA, and prepared the Stage 2 DA, which are currently in progress and being assessed by Council. This project will be the key catalyst towards meeting the vision for Cudgegong to become a local centre, providing local residents improved access to jobs and services within the area.
