We’re pleased to announce an exciting new name and brand for City Plan Strategy and Development Pty Ltd.
From July 1 2021, we’ll be known as GYDE Consulting.
GYDE is used to describe someone who is passionate and knowledgeable, and always seems to know the right way to go. Used in place of the word "guide" when referring to someone who is the leader of the pack and always knows the right direction.
City Plan Strategy and Development was established by David Ryan and Sue Francis in 2008 under the City Plan group of companies. Since then, we have grown substantially from two to four Executive Directors (David Ryan, Juliet Grant, Stephen Kerr and Sue Francis), with six Directors (Amanda Wetzel, Chris O’Dell, Helen Deegan, Mark Schofield, Mel Krzus and Paul Mitchell OAM) and over 30 professional planners, designers and analysts.
We operate from Sydney as well as Newcastle (since 2012) and ACT (from 2021).
Change but not different
Our new name and brand affords us opportunities to grow in new and exciting directions, while our core values remain the same. GYDE’s story started in 2008: we are still the same business, with the same professional experts navigating our clients through the complex planning environment to achieve quality outcomes.
