Place Strategy
Sonny Embleton is our Place Strategy lead. Our place strategy team works collaboratively with government and private sector clients, leveraging the expertise of our multidisciplinary team - including urban planners, urban designers, place makers, analysts, social infrastructure specialists, and community consultation experts - to shape vibrant, inclusive, and attractive places.
Through strategic, place-led thinking across the realms of evidence-based structure planning, place planning, urban revitalisation, place activation and implementation projects - we strive to shape the identity, experience, and functionality of urban and regional places to create enduring outcomes that are meaningful and sustainable.

Design
Elina Braunstein is our Design lead. Elina is an experienced urban design professional with local and international experience in designing built form and master plan outcomes.
By tailoring the site planning and built form outcomes in response to urban fabric analysis, our aim is to achieve contextually appropriate and compatible built form responses. We value the importance of robust urban design advice and the contribution it makes to our projects in both the public and private sector.
Our design team offers professional urban design services within the following specialist areas:

· Master planning and design excellence advice
· Visual impact analysis

Communication and engagement
Caroline Anthony is our Communication and engagement lead. Working with proponents and communities from planning through to delivery, we listen, build shared value and bring about meaningful results across all stages of a project.
Building buy in and responding to present and future needs requires strong stakeholder relationships with state and local government representatives, industry, peak bodies, and communities. We specialise in designing bespoke solutions and delivering community and stakeholder engagement programs that encourage participation and produce meaningful outcomes.
We can assist with a wide range of engagement activities including:
· community drop in sessions, pop ups, stakeholder interviews and world café style events
· surveys and website content
· workshops, panels, and public hearings
· public exhibition processes

Social planning
Paul Graham is our Social planning lead. By providing a transparent, independent and robust assessment of social factors, we help build support for projects, create relationships with residents and communities, enable faster approvals and promote positive place outcomes.
Our SIA process will support clients to make informed decisions about how projects can meet statutory obligations as well as contribute to creating socially sustainable communities.
Our specialist capabilities include:
· Social impact assessments
· Social infrastructure needs assessments and audits
· Plans of management
· Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design assessments.

Data analytics
Chris O’Dell is our Data Analytics lead. The team can deliver a full suite of analytical, data and GIS services to help interpret planning data and find efficient ways to use evidence to support new proposals.
Our specialist capabilities include:
- Data insights - working with large datasets to extract clear insights to inform planning decisions
- GIS mapping and analysis - from basic mapping to complex GIS modelling, multi criteria analysis and database modelling
- Visual Storytelling - creating compelling visuals for stakeholder engagement, council presentations or strategic reports
- Data Cleaning – standardising and making sense of messy datasets
- Trend Forecasting - modelling urban growth, housing demand, or infrastructure needs to support medium- to long-term planning.
