Jenny is an experienced leader and planner with over 30 years of experience having worked in the public/government and private consulting sectors. Jenny believes that working collaboratively will lead to a great place and planning outcomes for businesses and communities. She has developed and expanded teams to adapt and implement practical project, business and planning projects whilst taking into account the broader context and political environment.

Jenny’s experience in strategic and statutory led to her appointment as the Executive Director responsible for the review and development of the Six Cities Region Plan at Greater Cities Commission (GSC). Prior to joining GCC, Jenny was the Director Local Strategies and Plan Making at NSW Department of Planning, Industry and Environment, focusing on planning proposals and local planning reforms. Jenny was for 11 years a director, owner, and led the growing national urban and regional planning practice of Elton Consulting.

Jenny was the PIA NSW President for 2017 and 2018, is a member of the NSW Divisional Committee and is currently a Director on the PIA National Board.
